What an amazing experience!
It has been an honor to work with like these minded dudes.
Thank you Mark for being a Mentor; for teaching me new skills. It’s been so fun learning, and piecing everything together.

This weekend has been a reaffirmation for me of what true love can do.
The love, the vulnerability, the comradery; has helped me see that I am enough. That I am ready to help other men on their journey.
Mark is the embodiment of Fatherly Love. To have met other men from his Circles has been a blessing. Knowing I am not alone; knowing He loves me and I can love Him back… I love you Mark! Thank you!

How could I give this weekend anything less than 5 Stars?
Any environment promoting learning, growth, comradery, and love, is worthy of praise.
This was such a lovely time – lovely for the spirit and the mind.
I am deeply grateful.
The ripples of this event ripple in eternity.

I was too busy Co-hosting to write in the Guest Book.
Mark ran me ragged the entire weekend doing all his dirty work while he lounged around, ate chocolate and pretended to host.
I got a steak out of this and a couple of dumb hugs.

What a beautiful weekend it has been with each of these wonderful men.
Micah, Mark, and Danny have a very special place in my heart. Thank you for diving in and talking about the difficult topics.
This time as equipped me deeply to continue the things God has put on my heart. I am forever grateful for this time and for these men!

What a blessing to grow alongside each of you!
I was honored to be a part of the FMS 2020. It was refreshing and fun.
As a pastor, I have participated in many retreats and conferences in the last 20 years – and with great confidence I can say this was one of the best.
The intentional approach you have offered required much preparation, prayer, and planning. Thank you for the sacrifices you and Jamie made for this Summit.
Thank you for your vulnerability, honesty, and for sharing your wisdom. My life, family, and ministry will be better because of meeting each of you. I enjoyed the diversity of men and your stories.
Mark, I love you man. Thank you for following your heart and for acting on the vision for FMS. Your love for other men is amazing. Thank you for loving me as well for 43 years – even changing my crappy diapers!
My 🍆 is bigger than yours.
-Micah Lee Sanderson – FMS 2020
(It is definitely NOT – There’s a reason why we gave Micah a magnifying glass for his bathroom! – Mark)

I am so grateful to to have been a part of this awesome weekend – my 2nd FMS.
Meeting Mirazul and Micah has had a profound impact on my life; and of course, spending time with Mark is always a blessing to me.
I am taking away so many memories and practical knowledge from this weekend!
– Daniel Christopher Deal – FMS 2020
We elevated the FMS to a much higher level in 2020 – our 2nd year.
While COVID kept 2 guys from attending, the remaining 4 of us made amazing connections.
We offered a large AirBnB for the 1st time with comfortable sleeping and 3 full baths. We enjoyed steaks, salmon, the water taxi, night biking, and a trip to Anna Maria Island Beach at night.
I expanded the curriculum this year including Forums on:
– ‘The Mentoring Code – How Mentoring Works’
– The River – Our Personal Journeys’ (led by Micah)
– “Mentoring Wells and How to Draw from Them – a Visual Demonstration”
Congrats to Danny for winning the $50 Warriors and Scholars gift card!
-Mark Edward – FMS 2020 Founder & Facilitator

Just landed back home in Springfield. Thank you again for an awesome week-end!
It is always good spending time with you; even better in person. Thank you for hosting us, for all the food, snacks; for the wisdom, and for investing in Danny and me.
I’ll never forget it!

It was an honor to be a part of the 1st Fellow Mentors Summit on Davis Islands!
I was deeply blessed by what I learned and I am thrilled to have met and formed a friendship with Chris.
– Daniel Christopher Deal – FMS 2019
One my best memories of the Premier Year of the FMS was when I dozed off for a nap.
I recall hearing Chris and Danny talking and laughing. I woke up 30 minutes later, and they were still taking and laughing.
This reminded me of what Mirazul Nessa (FMS ’20) taught me about “sharing your friends with your other friends” – being the best thing you could give someone – better than money or gifts, is to “share your friends with your friends.”
The friendships formed at the first FMS resulted in a text thread which remains utilized to keep in touch today, for over 3 years (now 7).
We enjoyed the Tampa International Auto Show along with some of my local guys. The Pirate Water Taxi to Armature Works was a hit, as were my culinary delights haha.
– Mark Edward- FMS 2019 Founder & Facilitator
P.S. on 2019: The other interesting and unplanned memory, was the 3 of us hearing our neighbors having sex – LOUDLY.
More than once.
At one point the dude yelled, “suck it!!” – which became our go to expression for the week-end – we yelled “suck it!!” into the bathroom when Danny was showering. And later we yelled the same, loudly at Chris too LOL.
– Mark Edward – FMS 2019 Founder & Facilitator
1926 Davis Islands
The Original Fellow Mentors Summit
The 1926 Summit was hosted by Mark’s Grandfather, Eldon Dewey Sanderson (left).
(📷 Eldon Dewey Sanderson – left)
(They attended the 1926 Auto Show on Davis Islands – on the street where I now live)
(The first Summit was held in the Coliseum on Davis Islands.)
Just Kidding.
There was no Summit in 1926.
I just made that up.
However, sadly, 1926 was actually the year real estate magnate David Paul Davis, who developed Davis Islands, was mysteriously lost at sea.
I am grateful to him for his vision to dredge Tampa Bay and transform the Big and Little Grassy Islands into what we now enjoy as Davis Islands.
