Even in darkness I cannot hide from you Lord.

To You the night shines as bright as day.  Psalm 139:12 

The years 2011 through 2018 were some of the darkest days of my personal journey. 

The brutal death of my wife’s mother.

Loss of other extended family relationships once held dear.

Miscarriage experienced by one of my adult daughters (my grandchild).

Cancer treatment (and full recovery) of another daughter.

The near death of one of yet a third daughter.  Twice.

Hospitalization of same child – 752 days.

Severe financial losses.

Extreme dissatisfaction with work at different times.

Craziness and weirdness at church.

One excruciating disappointment after another.

So much pain.

Wanting to run away and leave!

Yet, I can say He has loved me and carried me.

Even in darkness.

He is that faithful.

He is that good.

If your journey at present seems dark, stop carrying the weight alone.

Let Him carry you.

There is no darkness with Him.

Only Light.

You will get through.

You will make it.

You will be stronger.

The night will return to day.

Your Father God is a Restorer.

Get your hands in the air and let Him love you.

Everything you need is in His Presence.

Peace.

Joy.

Insight.

Love.

Wisdom.

Patience.

Direction.

Provision.

Because He lives inside you, these traits  – His Nature – lives inside you too.

You’re a Son Of The Most High God.

And freedom from any chains that try to hold you back.

Shut the door.
